RRR Becomes The Only Film To Trend Globally On Netflix For 14 Weeks In A Row!

RRR, the masterpiece of director SS Rajamouli, keeps setting records all over the world! Even though the blockbuster movie was released in March of this year, it continues to garner attention worldwide for breaking records. Additionally, it has received appreciation from a number of well-known Hollywood directors. Currently, RRR is the only movie that has trended globally on Netflix for 14 weeks straight.

On March 25, Rajamouli's RRR, starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan, was released in theatres. When it debuted, both the audience and the reviewers gave it rave reviews, and it quickly became a commercial success. The movie debuted on Netflix on May 20 and, according to Netflix India, has streamed over 45M hours worldwide in just one month. The big screen spectacle broke another record during the Oscars hype. RRR became the lone movie to consistently rank in the top 10 on Netflix for 14 weeks. On Wednesday, the producers released the news and wrote,

It is anticipated that RRR would bring India its first Oscar nomination in 21 years. It should be noted that RRR is regarded as the most costly Indian film ever filmed, having cost Rs. 550cr to produce.
