RRR Becomes The First Indian Movie To Draw Over A Million Viewers In Japan; SS Rajamouli Responds

RRR, a movie by SS Rajamouli, has been playing nonstop in Japan since October of last year. It has already attracted over a million viewers in Japan, becoming the first Indian movie to achieve it, according to reports. The movie became the highest-grossing Indian film in Japan when it was released on 209 screens and 31 Imax screens across 44 cities and prefectures.

The movie RRR's official Twitter account reported that throughout its 164-day theatrical run, the movie attracted 1 million viewers. The post stated that

. Rajamouli thanked the Japanese audience for their support on Twitter on Tuesday. He tweeted,
