After watching the newest movie, Dasara, director SS Rajamouli applauded the actors' performances. Dasara, a Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi film, is set in the Telangana coal mines. Keerthy Suresh, Shine Tom Chacko, and Sai Kumar also play significant parts in the movie.
Nani gave a career-best performance in Dasara, says Rajamouli. He discussed the film on Twitter. The director stated on Monday afternoon that,
Before the movie's debut, Nani had told the news organization PTI that artists needed to realize that if they put their hearts into a project, audiences would love it. “If you make a good film, box office returns will automatically follow. In the case of the last few blockbusters, the first part picked up slowly. When it got your love, the second part received 10 times the love. The idea is to win hearts first, box office collections will follow.”
According to the producers, Dasara's opening weekend global take was Rs. 87 crores. In a press release, the production company SLV Cinemas stated, “Dasara has been making waves at the box office with its outstanding success, crossing the milestone of Rs. 87 crores gross worldwide. Dasara becomes the only Pan India film to score the second highest weekend collection worldwide after Pathaan.”
The producers also announced that the cost of tickets for shows in the Hindi-speaking region from Monday through Thursday (April 3 to April 6) has been reduced to Rs. 112. The note added, "The movie has garnered immense praise for its gripping storyline, stunning visuals, and powerful performances.
Overwhelmed by the love and admiration received from audiences, the cost of ticket for the Hindi version will be Rs. 112 from Monday to Thursday".
