Natural Star Nani is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Dasara, directed by debutante Srikanth Odela, who is a protégé of director Sukumar. The film has been carrying good expectations ever since the first look of the film was released a few months ago. The film has now fetched the highest price ever in Nani's career, in the Ceeded area. Dasara sold for Rs. 6.5 Crores in Ceeded, making it the highest ever for Nani in the area.
Dasara is an out-and-out raw and rustic film, the teaser of which was released recently. Santosh Narayanan is the music director of this film, in which Keerthy Suresh is the leading lady. This marks the actress' second collaboration with Nani after Nenu Local, which was a super hit. Dasara is set to be released on March 30th and is carrying really good expectations on it.
Nani has been showcased in a never before seen avatar in the film, in a completely violent way as well. The film is going to be Nani's first pan-Indian release, with the film set to be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
After Nani is done with Dasara, he will shift his focus to his new film, which will feature Mrunal Thakur as the leading lady. The film as launched recently, and is said to be a feel-good entertainer.
Nani was previously seen in Ante Sundaraniki, which was released in 2022. While the film became a good success following its OTT release, it was a disappointment at the box office.
