Rajinikanth Wishes Amitabh Bachchan On His 80th Birthday

On October 11, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan turns 80. While well wishes for the famous figure have been flooding in from throughout the country, from fans and other prominent individuals, his close friend, and Indian cinema superstar. Rajinikanth has also expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the renowned actor.

Rajinikanth took to his social media page to wish Amitabh Bachchan a happy 80th birthday, writing,

Big B's 80th birthday is celebrated in big style, with an 18-city retrospective and exhibition dubbed 'Bachchan: Back to the Beginning' from October 8 to 11. Amitabh Bachchan has received numerous prizes and distinctions in his decades-long career in the cinema industry. The Indian government awarded him the Padma Shri in 1984, the Padma Bhushan in 2001, and the Padma Vibhushan in 2015. He received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2018. He has received five National Film Awards, 15 Filmfare Awards, and various foreign film festival honors. Amitabh Bachchan, who made his Bollywood debut with 'Saat Hindustani' in 1969, was most recently featured in the films Brahmastra' and 'Goodbye.' He will soon be seen in 'Uunchai,' 'Project K,' and the remake of 'The Intern.'
