Metro Man E Sreedharan's biopic is in the making. Sony LIV is producing a web series called 'Rama Sethu'. The web series is being prepared in Hindi and Malayalam.
The series directed by VK Prakash is scripted by S Suresh Babu. In the Malayalam version, Jayasurya plays the role of E Sreedharan. Mamta Mohandas will play the role of Jayasurya's heroine.
However, it has not been announced who will be E Sreedharan in the Hindi version. Screenwriter Suresh Babu told that it will be decided by Sony LIV.
'Sony LIV officials saw the announcement of the biopic three years ago. They later asked for information about the film and said it would be better to make a series. It will cost a lot of money to make a film. That’s why we made the movie series. Sony LIV was ready to produce the series;” said Suresh Babu.
The series will show the life of E Sreedharan between the ages of 30 and 85. The series will cover every achievement of the Metro Man. The series will also feature Sreedharan's role in the reconstruction of the Pamban Bridge and his tenure at the Cochin Shipyard and Indian Railways. The series will also mention Kolkata, Delhi, and Kochi metro projects.
