Makers Of Chiyaan 61 Replace Rashmika Mandanna With Malavika Mohanan

Chiyaan Vikram has collaborated with filmmaker Pa Ranjith on a mega-budget action drama, provisionally titled 'Chiyaan 61.' According to the latest reports, Malavika Mohanan will replace Rashmika Mandanna in 'Chiyaan 61.' Initially, Rashmika Mandanna was rumoured to be playing the female lead in 'Chiyaan 61.' Still, the busy actress could not participate due to a scheduling conflict with her previously contracted films during the filming days. As a result, Rashmika Mandanna dropped out of the film, and the makers cast Malavika Mohanan as the female protagonist in 'Chiyaan 61.'

Malavika Mohanan will be seen romancing Chiyaan Vikram in her fourth Tamil film after romancing Sasikumar, Vijay, and Dhanush in their respective flicks. The filming of 'Chiyaan 61' began today in the Andhra Pradesh area of Kadapa, with the crew filming some early scenes. Chiyaan Vikram's appearance for the film was just finalised, and the look test took place in Chennai. 'Chiyaan 61' will be shot in 2D and 3D and released in many languages, including Tamil and Hindi, for a grand Pan-Indian release. The action drama, set in the Kolar gold fields during the pre-independence period, has nothing to do with the blockbuster 'KGF,' starring Yash. The film's music is being composed by GV Prakash Kumar, and it is scheduled to be released in theatres in the second half of 2023.
