Laththi: Vishal’s Upcoming Movie Release Moved To September 5

Actor Vishal's forthcoming film "Laththi," helmed by debutant filmmaker A Vinodkumar, is approaching completion, with post-production work underway. While Vishal would be wearing khaki in this film, the film's original release date of August 12, 2022, has been pushed back due to many injuries to actor Vishal and extensive visual effects for the battle sequences. Earlier in February, it was reported that the Tamil star suffered multiple hairline fractures during the shoot of a stunt sequence in Hyderabad. He went to Kerala for treatment and remained there for three weeks till his recovery.

The film will be Vishal’s first pan-India project, and the movie will release in 5 languages- Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. The film will now most likely release on September 15, 2022. Sunaina plays the female protagonist, and veteran actor Prabhu plays an important part in the movie. Vishal's cop role will be called S Muruganantham. The film is produced by Ramana and Nandaa's production firm, with music by Sam CS and photography by M Balasubramaniam. Interestingly, this is Yuvan's 12th collaboration with Vishal for a film, and Pon Parthiepan has written the lines. Vishal's latest appearance was in Veerame Vaagai Soodum. The crowd highly appreciated Thu Pa Sarvanan’s action-thriller. In the film, Dimple Hayathi portrayed the female lead.
