Actor Vishal has reportedly suffered yet another injury on his leg on the sets of his most recent film Laththi. The leg injury is occurring months after he suffered a hand injury on the sets of the same movie. The actor was shooting for the final schedule of the film when the incident happened. The action sequence for the introduction fight scene was being shot when Vishal got injured. Due to the same, the night shoot has been canceled and is expected to be resumed once Vishal recovers from his injuries.
Laththi is directed by A. Vinoth Kumar and written by Pon Parthiban. As the name denotes, Laththi is a cop drama, and Vishal plays a cop named Muruganantham IPS in the movie. The action choreography of the movie is done by national award-winning stunt choreographer master Peter Hein. The movie is produced by Ramana and Nandaa's production house. Sunaina plays the female lead in the movie. Veteran actor Prabhu is also doing a pivotal role in the movie, according to reports. This is Yuvan and Vishal's 12th time working together on a movie. Cinematography for the film is done by M Balasubramaniam, and the music is composed by Sam CS.
Vishal had suffered a series of hairline fractures on his hand and fingers. He recovered from the same in March and noted on his Twitter, “I'm BACK! after a few weeks of rejuvenation in Kerala. Thanks to Guru Kripa Ayurvedic treatment center, Peringode. Now all set for tomorrow and ready to be back in action for the final schedule of #Laththi in Hyderabad. GB”. The cast and crew of the movie, along with the fans, are waiting for the speedy recovery of the actor. Laththi is expected to hit the theaters in the latter half of this year.
