Following in the footsteps of the Marvel and Bond franchises the makers of KGF have plans for multiple franchises of the film. The producers plan to release five sequels starring different actors. The accolades and appreciation for the 'KGF' franchise's creators haven't stopped. 'KGF Chapter 2' went on to become a bigger blockbuster than 'KGF Chapter 1'. The film has grossed more than Rs 1250 crore worldwide in 2022.
The makers of 'KGF,' speaking to a publication, confirmed the news of 'KGF,' having 5 sequels with different heroes. So 'KGF 3' will most likely begin in 2025. It will start with Prashanth Neel completing his commitment to Jr. NTR and both parts of Prabhas' 'Salaar'.
Lokesh Kanagaraj's characters from previous films are said to be part of the 'Lokesh Cinematic Universe'. Prashanth Neel is now recreating the same in his stories. The big news is that Prashanth Neel, who is directing 'Salaar' with Prabhas, will cast Yash in a cameo role in the Telugu film. Fans can therefore expect to see Rocky Bhai in 'Salaar' when it is released.
The cast of 'Salaar' includes Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu. 'Salaar' will be released in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam on September 28, 2023. Ravi Basrur composed the music, and Bhuvan Gowda, who worked on the 'KGF' franchise, is the cinematographer.
