Congratulations are in order for singer Katy Perry and fiancé Orlando Bloom, who are expecting their first child together. Katy made the happy announcement in the music video of her latest single ‘Never Worn White’. The singer debuted her baby bump at the end of the video that sees her cradling her bump in a sheer dress.
Taking to social media, the star confirmed her pregnancy saying, “omg so glad I don’t have to suck it in anymore.” She went on to quip, “or carry around a big purse lol.” Bloom and Perry, who have been in a relationship for a while, got engaged in on Valentine's Day 2019. The couple was set to wed last December but decided to postpone their wedding. This will be the first child for the songstress and second child for actor Orlando Bloom. He shares a son Flynn Bloom with his supermodel ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
In an Instagram story, Perry further stated that she’s due this summer. “Let’s call it a reveal,” she said, adding that a new album is also expected in the coming months. “I’m excited, we’re excited and we’re happy.”
Orlando and Katy have never shied away from speaking about their desire to start a family together. Bloom said in a previous statement, "I really want to enjoy family and friends, my beautiful son, and have more kids. I want to make sure when I embark on that, it's with my heart full and very clear about the reality of what that means, as opposed to some romantic idea of that it means to be in a relationship."
