Jeyamohan To Write The Script Of Gautham Menon-Kamal Hassan Combo's 'Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu 2'

Recently, actor Kamal Haasan and director Gautham Menon were sighted together at the audio and trailer premiere event for the Vels Film International production Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu. Given that Gautham Menon, Kamal Haasan, and Vels Film International are likely to collaborate on Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu 2, it was anticipated that an announcement regarding the sequel will be made prior to the event. However, the event only provided brief hints about the planned sequel.

As previously reported, Gautham Menon recently said that scripting for Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu 2 is already underway and that production will start by the middle of 2023. When he said, "I gave my nod to the director 2 years ago, I'm still waiting for the script," Kamal Haasan reiterated the same sentiment. Gautham Menon also disclosed that Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu 2 is being written by Jeya Mohan, who previously wrote Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu. After Harris Jayaraj for music, Jeya Mohan is the second member of the technical crew whose name is associated with the sequel to have their name revealed.
