With different stories and relatable characters, he became a legendary filmmaker. Now, the ace filmmaker Imtiaz is all set to come up with a web series with an interesting plotline titled SHE. According to the story, a lady constable poses as a prostitute to help the police arrest a dreaded narcotics dealer. But, can she succeed in her mission? Her journey is going to be the web series titled 'She'.
The project's trailer already garnered a lot of attention. Imtiaz Ali revealed his thought process behind the creation of 'She'. Talking about the same, hr said, “ 'She' is about a female cop who becomes an undercover agent. She disguises herself as a prostitute and sets out to help the police solve a criminal nexus mystery. It is the journey of this woman and what she goes through when she was pretending as a prostitute, how she deals with it and what happens to her. The series discusses so many interesting and hidden aspects of society and of our own personalities."
"I have met many lady constables as well as prostitutes" added Imtiaz. Aaditi Pohankar is starring in the series. “She is strong. She is a very pushable character. She is timid and okay to be ignored. That is where her strength lies" claimed Imtiaz Ali.
