I will retire only after making the sequel of Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari- Ashwini Dutt

Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Veerudu is often considered as the classics of the Telugu cinema. Released in 1990, this film created a storm at the box office and became an industry hit in those times. This K. Raghavendra Rao directorial film featured Megastar Chiranjeevi and Sridevi in the lead roles. It got bankrolled by Ashwini Dutt under the banner Vyjayanti Movies. Since a long time, Ashwini Dutt is in the plans of making a sequel to this movie. But for some reason, it is not getting materialized. But the producer is not giving up. In a recent interview, Dutt said that he will make the sequel soon and he will only retire from the films only after making that film.

Recently, Vyjayanti Movies shared a video celebrating the 30 years of Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari's release. In the video, Ashwini Dutt said that he will make the sequel of this movie very soon. The star producer further added that he will retire from films only after making this movie. He also revealed his desire of making the sequel with Chiranjeevi in the lead role. Earlier, Ashwini Dutt's son-in-law Nag Ashwin narrated a script to Chiru. Everyone thought that it is a sequel to this timeless classic. But somehow, it didn't go on the floors. Now, Nag Ashwin is making another film with Prabhas as the lead. Thus, we have to see who will be helming this much-awaited sequel. Ashwini Dutt stated that he will reveal more details on this film at the right time. Until then, stay tuned!
