Actor Madhu responds to Dileep's assault case. Madhu's response was in an interview given to Zee Malayalam News. Madhu said that he does not believe Dileep has a part in the case. Madhu also made a controversial statement about women going out at night.
“I do not believe Dileep will do that. I wish he had not done so. If I open the television every day, one-third of it is Dileep's case. Tired of hearing it, there is no end to it. Every time I see this, I think of one thing. It is not to blame anyone who travels alone in the car at night with someone they don’t know.
I have never seen young children, young women, or the elderly sent home like that. Not with any actress, the IPS, or the police. Not even the men won’t go.
I have never seen actresses Adoor Bhavani, Adoor Pankaja, or Ponnamma Chechi go alone in a car. There may be a make-up artist, a hair stylist, or someone who knows them. I do not know if they traveled alone at night, but I do not know if they traveled even during the day;” Said Madhu.
Madhu added that if the family had not left the child alone that night, he would not have had to watch all this on TV today.
