Telugu girl Sobhita Dhulipala who is riding high with back to back hits in Bollywood is back in Tollywood. After Goodachari, she signed the Telugu film Major.
Announcing the same, the film's production house Sony Pictures revealed, "Thrilled to announce that the beautiful @sobhitaD will play a crucial role in MAJOR, a film that has inspired by the true story of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. She will be joining @AdiviSesh to bring the heroic story of the NSG Commando to life. #MajorTheFilm"
The film's lead Adivi Sesh too welcomed Sobhita on board again, after working with her on Goodachari. "It's so amazing to reunite with @sobhitaD for #Major after our previous #Goodachari. This time, she is going to have her own individual story track in the film. She is going to be dynamite in a role with emotional depth. #Major is a story for all of India. Looking fwd to it."

Sashi Kiran Tikka is the director of the movie. The film is a joint venture of three production houses. Sony Pictures, GMB Entertainments and A plus S Movies jointly produce the film. The film's shoot kick-started long back and the makers want to release the film in the second half of this year.
