Alphonse released a colorful full poster featuring all the characters from the film Gold. The poster went viral on social media within seconds of its release.
But someone commented on the poster of a Hollywood movie that is similar to the poster. The poster for the movie Everything Everywhere at All Once, released in March 2022, was shared via comment. There were some similarities between the poster of Gold and this Hollywood movie.
Alphonse responded by sharing the poster for his first film, Neram. The Neram has also similarities with the Gold poster. The film was released in 2013. The film stars Nivin Pauly and Nazriya in the lead roles.
Meanwhile, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Nayanthara play major roles in the film Gold. The screenplay is by Alphonse Puthren himself. Prithviraj and Listin Stephen produce the film ‘Gold’.
The film will mark the third film from Alphonse Puthren. Alphonse made his directional debut with the acclaimed bilingual thriller Neram. Puthren’s second film Premam was a blockbuster hit.
Gold is also the first film in the Prithviraj-Nayanthara-Alphonse combo. Prithviraj and Listin Stephen produce the film Gold under the banner of Prithviraj Productions and Magic Frames.
