Director Sundar C hospitalised due to Covid-19

The second wave of Covid-19 pandemic is seeng a sharp spike in cases, which is quite alarming. In the second wave, many celebrities including Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Down South, Master director Lokesh Kanagaraj, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Nivetha Thomas contracted the virus and are now in isolation. Recently, director and actor Sundar C has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. He has also been hospitalised at a private hospital in the city due to precautionary measures.

Sundar C's wife Khushbu Sundar, actress and politician, took to Twitter to share the news with the world. She wrote, "Hi, my husband #SundarC has tested #Covid19 positive today eve. He is doing well but admitted in hospital for precautionary measures. Request anyone who has been in contact with him to please isolate yourself and get tested immediately. Pls prayer for his speedy recovery. My heartfelt thanks to everyone for all those get well soon wishes for my husband. The warmth is overwhelming. I am sure it will help him to heal n get well soon faster. He is doing good. He sends his best regards with a smile. I am touched at the love n strength sent across (sic)."
