Dil Raju Says He's Confident Of Adipurush's Success

Director Om Raut's Adipurush is one of the most anticipated films of 2023. However, that anticipation sort of died down when the makers unveiled the film's teaser on October 2. A section of people trolled the teaser for its poor VFX and animation. Another section suggested that Adipurush misinterpreted history and called it a disgrace to Hinduism. However, the negative criticisms changed a bit when the 3D teaser was screened for the media on October 6. On October 7, the 3D teaser was screened in 60 theatres, especially for fans. Producer Dil Raju was also present at the teaser launch. The event was also attended by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series and UV Creations' Vamsi-Pramod.

Dil Raju said, "I have seen negative comments being made on the teaser. Similar negativity was thrust upon 'Baahubali-The Beginning' when it was released in 2015. Just as that film went on to create history, 'Adipurush', too, is going to create history. Director Om Raut has chosen an exciting episode from the Ramayana. When 'Adipurush' was announced, I hadn't heard of the director's name. Since Prabhas would be working with him, I watched Raut's Hindi film 'Tanhaji' on OTT. I was blown away by his narrational prowess."
