Jaideep Ahlawat is one such talent who has always displayed his versatility via great performances. Jaideep has impressed audiences with his performances in movies like Gangs of Wasseypur, Commando: A One Man Army, Raazi, and many more in addition to the web series. The actor who will soon appear alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan. The Pataal Lok actor opened up about the rejections he encountered in his early career.
Jaidee Ahlawat was asked about how he responds to rejection throughout the interview. The actor responded by saying that while originally he used to feel terribly awful, he later understood there was nothing he could do about it. He admitted that during the last few years, he has given up battling over things that are no longer in his possession. Jaideep spoke about trying out for the Vidya Balan movie Ishqiya when questioned about facing rejections in the beginning. He made a joke, "bahut acha audition hua tha." Jaideep claimed the part he tried out for was Vidya Balan's husband, who appeared in the movie for the first ten minutes and the last ten minutes. "According to them, I was too young", Jaideep said.
The actor then admitted that he also went on the Once Upon A Time in Mumbai casting call. He had tried out for the part opposite Randeep Hooda. "But, slowly when you understand this profession you understand that they are not rejecting you as an actor, they are rejecting you as a character. So when you understand this, your struggle ends." he continued.
Speaking of the popular online series, Jaideep reveals that filming for the second season will begin in November. “It’s happening, and we are just 10 days away (from the shoot). So Paatal Lok Season 2 is starting, Devotion (Sujoy Ghosh’s The Devotion of Suspect X) we have completed shooting for. Then there is another film releasing on December 2 - An Action Hero - it has Ayushmann (Khurrana) bhai and me, has been produced by Aanand L Rai Sir and T-Series, and is directed by Anirudh Iyer. He has made a beautiful film,” Jaideep Ahlawat said.
