Coronavirus to become an obstacle for Cannes Film Festival; Buzz intensifies on social media

As per the latest reports, the Coronavirus is now going to affect the most awaited Cannes Film Festival as well. We already know that the Cannes Film Festival is one of the most popular events that takes place in France every year. This year the makers have decided to organize the event from May 12th to May 23rd. But, France government is currently busy with the prevention of Coronavirus. So, the film festival which is going to feature more than 40000 people is much likely to get postponed. "We hope that the Coronavirus will come to an end by the end of this month. Otherwise, we will cancel the Cannes Film Festival," says Pierre Luscare.

Back in 1948 and 1950, the Cannes Film Festival got canceled because of some financial issues. But, if the event is going to get canceled this year, then this will be the third time. On the other side, the sources close to the organizers revealed that they want the event to take place as per the schedule, without any change. Because celebrities from all over the world will attend the film festival, there are speculations about the cancellation of the event.
