After the humongous success of
Ala Vaikunthapurramloo,
Allu Arjun is now gearing up to start his next film Pushpa. This movie is being directed by Sukumar. This will be the first pan-Indian release of Allu Arjun. Pushpa will have a simultaneous release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. The latest reports revealed that the makers of this film are planning to rope in a Bollywood actor as the main villain in this movie. Actors like Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty and
Sanjay Dutt are in consideration for this role.
According to the sources, the makers are currently sorting out who will be the best option to play a negative role in the movie. Jackie, Suniel and Sanjay have already entered into the South Indian films. They have also acted in the pan-Indian movies. Jackie has acted in Saaho while Suneil has done the villain role in Darbar. Currently, Sanjay Dutt is playing the main villain role in KGF Chapter:2. All of them have a powerful persona and thus, Sukumar is trying to signup either one of them. Earlier, it got reported that Vijay Sethupathi will play a key role in the film. Whether he got considered for this role or any other character is not known yet.
The shoot of Pushpa will begin once the entire lockdown gets lifted.
Rashmika Mandanna is playing the female lead role in the movie. Allu Arjun is playing the role of a red sandalwood smuggler in this flick. It is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Pushpa will hit the screens in 2021.
