Rana Daggubati has debuted as the protagonist and continued in such roles until S.S. Rajamouli has offered him an antagonist role in his epic saga Baahubali. Although this film has carnage Rana a brand-new image & market, being the antagonist of the film has chewed the majority of his time. Rana, in a recent interaction with media, has opened up about this.
He said, "Being on the set of 'Baahubali' is a whole lot of different experience. It was like a film school, knowing about VFX, making and in every aspect of filmmaking. And this film is a landmark in the history of India Cinema. Such things won't happen quite often, especially in India. This film did to India cinema, what 'Star Wars' did to Hollywood. And, I agree that this film has cost me most of my time, but it is worth every second."
Although Rana's debut Leader was a decent film, his next isn't. With him in the lead role, the success rate of the films is quite not up to the mark. Even his Bollywood roles didn't help him sustain a lead star image. But, with 'Baahubali' he, for sure, gained a lot of trust and market all around the globe. He is currently working with Venu for 'Viraata Parvam' and his trilingual 'Haathi Mere Saathi' is all set for the release. Rana is also bucking up for another season of his hit television show 'No.1 Yaari' and is considering to produce a film too.
