Drishyam 2 is one of the year's most anticipated films; the suspenseful thriller follows Vijay Salgaonkar as he takes extraordinary measures to safeguard his family when an unintentional murder threatens to upend his tranquil, unassuming family life.
The revival, which will recast the original protagonists, will also include Akshaye Khanna as a fierce officer desperate to uncover the truth. Ajay Devgn, who plays the lead character Vijay Salgaonkar, recently took to Instagram to share a teaser for the song Saath Hum Rahein, writing, “Share the warmth of togetherness and family fun with Pan Indian Rockstar DSP's Saath Hum Rahein in the inimitable voice of Jubin Nautiyal and penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya only on Panorama Music. Teaser out now.”
Ajay stated in another post that Saath Hum Rahein "will connect with every family as it honors the tie of love." The song depicts Vijay's joyous moments with his family, showcasing their close relationship.
Drishyam 2 is the sequel to a Malayalam film starring Mohanlal. Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Ishita Dutta also play key roles in the Hindi adaptation.
