So far, Bollywood star Ajay Devgn has had a great year. He most recently received the National Award for Best Actor for the movie Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. He received this honour from the Indian government. He is now working hard to promote his upcoming movie, Drishyam 2.
He and the actress Tabu were present at the movie's trailer debut on Monday. They took a brief break during the promotions to remember the first film's director, Nishikant Kamat. Cirrhosis caused his death in August 2020.
According to Indian Today, Ajay Devgn gave a speech at the ceremony and said, “I want to just take this occasion to remember Nishi, who directed the first part. Without him, this wasn't possible.” To this, Tabu immediately quipped and added, “I want to remember Nishi and how easy he made the whole experience of the first part.” Ajay further in continuation said, "However much I talk about Nishi, it won't be enough. We all miss him. If he was here, we would have all been very happy. But the show must go on.”
Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Ishita Dutta are among the actors that will play the main characters in this upcoming movie. Abhishek Pathak is the director of the movie's second part.

Devgn has carved out his place in the film industry through a career that has lasted nearly 30 years. Dilwale, Kachche Dhaage, Golmaal Returns, and Singham Returns are a few of his well-known movies. Devgn made his online television debut in 2022 with the web serial Rudra. Runway 34, his second movie of the year, featured him with iconic actor Amitabh Bachchan in the starring role. He also appeared in the movies RRR and Gangubai Kathiawadi, where his acting was well-received.
He is now anticipating two movies this year: Drishyam 2 and Thank God. As a result, he has been in five films this year, which is impressive.
