Kochi: The crime branch has informed the Kerala High Court that the high-level leadership of CPM has no involvement in Periya twin murder case. The crime branch gave a clean chit to CPM leadership through an affidavit. In the affidavit submitted by the crime branch official, it is stated that no CBI probe is required into the incident. Congress and other opposition parties had alleged that the murder could not have been committed without the involvement of CPM.
