Delhi: A 25-year-old man committed suicide days after killing his mother in Delhi's Rohini. An unemployed young man named Kshitij committed suicide after killing his mother. The police said that their father had died earlier. He killed his mother two or three days ago. The body was found murdered in the bathroom. After this, his son also committed suicide on Sunday.
Neighbours who noticed the foul smell coming from the house called the police control room (PCR) at around 8 pm and informed them about it. Then, when the investigating officer reached the spot, the main door was locked from inside. When the employees entered the house from the balcony, they found the body of a man covered in blood. A woman's body was also found lying in the washroom. Rohini Deputy Commissioner of Police Pranav Tayal said that the dead body found in the washroom was in a highly decomposed state.
A 77-page suicide note written by Kshitij was also found at the scene. Kshitij has stated in his suicide note that he killed his mother on Thursday. Two days later, he committed suicide by slitting his throat. The police said that crime teams and forensic science lab teams were sent to inspect the incident site. DCP was also informed that legal action has been initiated in the incident. In the suicide note, the officer said, Kshitij had mentioned "depression" and stated that he wanted to end his life as he was unemployed. The police said that they have not found anything suspicious yet. The police are trying to contact the relatives to learn about the family.
