YVS Chowdary celebrates his birthday today; Talented director yet to announce his next film

Yalamanchili Venkata Satyanarayana Chowdary aka YVS Chowdary is a popular director in the Tollywood film industry. As a director, producer, exhibitor, screenwriter and a distributor, he is a rockstar. Although he is currently inactive with the movies, he is trying to come up with something interesting for quite some time. The director made his debut with Sri Sita Ramula Kalyanam Chootamu Raarandi produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna under "Great India Entertainments". Harikrishna and Nagarjuna played the leads in the film and it became a big hit at the box-office. He is celebrating his birthday today and everyone is pouring on wishes for the director.

Mahesh Babu is the star hero of the current generation for having worked with YVS Chowdary. They did the film Yuvaraju which completed 2 decades recently. Some of the notable works of his career are Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo, Seetayya, Devadasu, Okka Magadu, and Rey. It is YVS Chowdary who launched Ram Pothineni and Sai Dharam Tej in the film industry. He also launched Ileana as the heroine. So far, YVS Chowdary directed nine movies, and his last films as a producer is Nippu. Rey is his last film as a director.
