Actor Unni Mukundan says that he is a hardcore fan of Mohanlal. Unni said that he wanted to act in a movie after watching Mohanlal's film Spadikam. Unni was speaking in an interview.
When asked if would do a biopic of Mohanlal or Mammootty, Unni said, "I can do it with Lalettan." Unni Mukundan said that there is a reason for that.
“If such an opportunity arises, I would like to do a biopic of Mohanlal sir. I've heard that he was an old wrestler. If we want to start a movie, we can start from this. It was a time when there was no interest in cinema at all. A Nair family, spending time with dad, mom, and family and college life. After that, he comes to the cinema with friends.
With wrestling, you can add some spice to the beat and thump. Then at one point, he started acting. When he gets into the movie, he becomes a villain without being the hero, saying that he does not have much glamour and has acne.
Starring alongside superstars of that era. He has been in the cinema for a long time. I think Mohanlal was 25 when he became a superstar. He has fanboys in every generation. There is a new fan base every ten years. He is still making hits in Malayalam cinema.

Unni Mukundan's reply to the question of whether he will act as Mohanlal in the biopic of Mohanlal he said he will not do. He said that he would rather watch the film than act in it.
Unni Mukundan said that he is very happy to have acted with Mohanlal in a film like 12th Man. “I'm not a fan of big celebrations. My birthday came during the 12th Man shoot. Mohanlal did not have a shooting that day. Yet at midnight he came with the cake and celebrated my birthday. That's a great thing. We cannot celebrate birthdays with Mohanlal every year, you know.
