Unni Mukundan is an actor who works majorly in the Malayalam film industry. He has also acted in films like Seedan and Bhaagamathie in Tamil. He will next be seen in Yashoda. Yashoda is directed by Hari and Harish. Samantha is the lead actor in the movie.
Unni Mukundan talked in an interview about Yashoda. “When I look at scripts, I think about the story and my role in it. I think about how much I can do for that role. It's important to show uniqueness in every role as an actor. Shooting for Yashoda was a very engaging process. We made a very good movie and are waiting for the audience’s reaction to it. I can't reveal much about my character at the moment. You will know why when you watch the movie. It's one of the reasons I immediately said OK to the role.”
Unni talked highly about Samantha as she is a very talented actress. “She is a very dedicated and hardworking actress. She has prepared a lot for her role, which includes action and emotional scenes. She interacts well with other artists on set. We discussed ideas to improvise a scene. In Malayalam, the working style is slightly different. We don’t rehearse much and perform directly in front of the camera so that the co-star’s reaction would be natural. I practiced the same for this film as well.”
Recently, Samantha revealed that she is suffering from myositis. Unni says that Samantha did not reveal the disease while they were filming. “No, she was very professional and never revealed that she was fighting such a disease. I’m sure she will recover soon and get back in good health.”
