23rd April, World Book Day declared by UNESCO to promote the habit of reading books now celebrated in over 100 countries. In the spirit to promote the same, a compiled list of your favourite actresses reading
Alia Bhatt has always flaunted her love for books. She mentioned that she tries to read at every chance she gets. The actress mentioned that she is presently reading ‘ Small Fry by Lisa Brennan-Jobs’ On her Instagram post, “ Reading gives us someplace to go when we have to stay where we are - Mason Cooley.”
Former Bollywood actress, Twinkle Khanna is now a well-established author who wrote a total of three books. She is presently reading two books simultaneously. The first book she got indulged in is the classic by F.Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby. Her other read is the ‘ Selected Stories by Alice Munro’ She is keen on discovering different writing styles, mentioned Twinkle in her post. On Kangana's official Instagram handle, her team shared a photograph where the actress is completely engrossed in her book, Death by Sadhguru. The caption read as, “ A lightened up day, and an enlightening book! Kangana has captured this morning gorging on 'Death' by @sadhguru which she highly recommends for others to read. She also suggests reading the more famous counterparts, 'Inner Engineering' and 'Mystic's Musings', and make the most out of this self-quarantine period.”
Actress Kajol Devgn claims to be a fan of mythology books. She posted a picture along with her book ‘ Raavan: Enemy of Aryavarta by Amish Tripathi’Kajol being Kajol, the picture was rather quirky for mythology read. Her caption read, “ Rereading my library.
