Brad Pitt turned everyone’s favorite thanks to his role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Directed by Quentin Tarantino, the film co-stars Leonardo DiCaprio.
Pitt recently received accolades at every award show, BAFTAs, SAG Awards, Golden Globes, among others. He won Best Supporting Actor for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The star entertained everyone after repeatedly delivering humorous lines from his speech. At the Golden Globes, Brad cracked a joke on his dating life and said: “ wanted to bring my mom but I couldn’t because any woman I stand next to, they say I’m dating, and it would just be awkward.”
Accepting his SAG award he said: “I gotta add this to my Tinder profile.” Referencing Titanic at the Golden Globes, he said he would have made room for Leonardo on the raft, unlike Rose (Kate Winslet’s character). “He's an all-star, he's a gent, and I wouldn't be here without you, man. I thank you. Still, I would've shared the raft,” Pitt had said.
His co-star Margot Robbie accepted his BAFTA for him and read out his speech. Holding up Brad Pitt's BAFTA Award, Margot Robbie read his joke: "Oh, and he says that he is gonna name this Harry ‘cause he is really excited about bringing it back to the States with him. His words, not mine, thanks." This joke took a dig at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's decision to spend more time in North America. They took a step back from their duties as British royals.
While Pitt, already known for his humor impressed the audience this season, Vulture reported that a speechwriting agency confirmed that the actor's representatives reached out about “engaging their services” before awards season. The agency wishes to remain anonymous and did not reveal whether they reached a deal with the star.
