Recently, Vishal Vishnu took to Twitter to ask his fans whether his team should announce the title of his next film amid the lockdown. The actor had said that shooting for the film was to star on April 11, instead, the team will now release details of the film, if that's what the fans want. A majority of his fans responded positively. Sticking to his words, the film's team has put out the teaser for Vishnu Vishal's upcoming film Mohandas.
The actor took to Twitter to say, "Here's the TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT TEASER of my next, directed by @im_the_TWIST . This time the hammer is in my hands"
The film follows the tale of a serial killer named Mohandas. The one-minute-long teaser shows Vishnu Vishal killing a person with a hammer with someone laughing in the background. The film seems to be a psychological thriller. The trailer hits at Mahatma Gandhi - the trailer has a quote by Gandhi and Gandhi's Three Monkeys statue also features in the trailer. Gandhian ideas might be a huge part of the film.
The film's shooting will begin after the coronavirus lockdown is over. Vishnu Vishal is producing the film under his banner Vishnu Vishal Studioz. The technical team consists of Vignesh Rajagopalan (cinematographer), Kripakaran (editor) and music director KS Sundaramurthy. There is no word on the rest of the cast and crew.
Meanwhile, Vishnu Vishal will next appear in the film Kaadan. The film also stars Rana Daggubati. The film was to hit the theatres on April 2nd. The release of the film now stands halted due to the coronavirus outbreak.
