'Kuri', written and directed by KR Praveen with Vishnu Unnikrishnan in the lead role, hit the theatres today. The film is produced by Ziyad Kokar under the banner of Kokar's Media & Entertainment. This is the film where Vishnu Unnikrishnan will play the role of a cop for the first time.
Yesterday, at a press conference held in connection with the release of the movie 'Kuri', producer Siyad Kokar announced that for a week from the opening day, people who buy tickets for more than three people will get a 50 percent discount. Siyad Kokar also stated that if "Kuri" is a financial success in theatres, he will sacrifice half of his first-week loss for the film industry.
The film was earlier scheduled to release on July 8. Later the release was postponed. The film is produced by Cockers Media Entertainments. KR Praveen wrote and directed the film Kuri.
The film also stars Atithi Ravi and Vishnu Govindan in the lead roles. Apart from them Vinod Thomas, Sagar Surya, Pramod Velianad, and Chali Pala also play other important roles. Santosh C Pillai moved the camera for the film.
Rashin Ahmed edited the visuals of the film Kuri. Vinu Thomas has composed the music for the songs in Kuri. BK Harinarayanan wrote the lyrics for the song.
