Fans are eagerly waiting for Vijay's film "Varisu." The film is directed by Vanshi Paidipally. The new update of Rashmika Mandanna's starrer film is here. A new report says that "Varisu" has sold 6.5 million theatre rights in Kerala.
There were earlier reports that Seven Screen Studio had acquired the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights to Varisu for a record amount. The film also has the distinction of having Vijay sing a song for "Varisu" with S Thaman's music direction. The cinematography of the film is done by Karthik Palani. Praveen KL's film will be a Pongal release and will hit theaters.
Varisu is being produced by Vamshi Paidipally, who won the 2019 National Award for Best Popular Film for his Mahesh Babu starrer "Maharshi." The film will be produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. This is the first Tamil film from this production company. Apart from Vijay and Rashmika Mandana, the film, which belongs to the family entertainer category, also stars Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Shyam, Prabhu, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Khushbu, Sangeeta Krishna, and others. This project was announced on September 26 of last year. This is Vijay's 66th film. The film is in Tamil and Telugu.
Vijay has decided to take a short break after completing the shooting of "Varisu" in October and join the film directed by Lokesh Kanakaraj. Tentatively titled "Dalapati 67," the film will be action-heavy. There are reports that Gautham Vasudev Menon will also play a role in the film. There are also reports that Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt will play the role of the villain in the film, which will be played by action king Arjun.
