Rashmika Mandanna and Thalapathy Vijay recently traveled to Andhra Pradesh to film their forthcoming movie "Varisu." The film, which was made by Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations and was directed by Vamshi Paidipally, is marketed as family entertainment. According to sources, filming for "Varisu" is moving along quickly in Visakhapatnam. The pre-interval scenes for Yevadu, a previous movie of Vamshi Paidipally's, were shot near the Vizag harbor, where production is currently taking place. A few BTS photos from the sets, one of which features Thalapathy Vijay, have surfaced online and are now trending.
In the picture, Vijay could be seen standing among the actors who were disguised as harbor employees and wearing black and black clothing. Notably, the background appears to be a cruise ship. Yogi Babu, Sarathkumar, Shaam, Srikanth, Prakash Raj, SJ Suryah, Jayasudha Sangeetha, Samyuktha, and other actors also appear in "Varisu."
It is anticipated that the film's full production will be finished in a month or two. For the movie, which features editing by Praveen KL and cinematography by Karthick Palani, Thaman is writing the music score. On the occasion of Pongal, the movie "Varisu" is slated to be released in theatres in January 2023.
Vijay's 66th movie in a leading role, with the working title Thalapathy 66, was revealed on September 26, 2021. Ahead of Vijay's 48th birthday, on June 21, 2022, the title Varisu was revealed. It is Paidipally's second Tamil film after Thozha and the first Tamil film produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations. The second wave of the COVID-19 epidemic in India forced the project's creators to postpone their initial plans to announce it early that year, according to Paidipally. As the movie will take place throughout two separate historical periods, Vijay was also said to be flaunting two different appearances. The movie is expected to hit the theaters in January next year, during the Pongal season.
