Vijay - Lokesh Flick Thalapathy 67's Full Fledged Shoot From January

Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj are working together once more for the film with the working title Thalapathy 67. The movie is billed as a gangster thriller. Thalapathy 67 is also said to be a part of the "Lokesh Cinematic Universe."

Following the muhurat puja in Chennai, the movie reportedly began its production recently. The official announcement has not been made yet. The latest update is that the film will be officially announced after the release of Varisu. As per reports, Lokesh has finalized the cast for Thalapathy 67. According to earlier reports, Sanjay Dutt, Vishal, Nivin Pauly, and Prithviraj Sukumar were rumored to play roles in the movie. Vishal revealed that he could not commit to the film due to prior commitments. The movie will feature numerous antagonists. Additionally, it is rumored that Trisha will play the movie's female lead. The movie is said to be a gangster action film. It will reportedly be shot in Kashmir and Munnar, and Vijay will begin filming his part in January. On the professional front, Vijay finished filming his bilingual movie Varisu and it is scheduled to hit theatres on January 12, 2023. Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead in the Vamshi Paidipally-directed film.
