Vijay Deverakonda mesmerized everyone with his performance in Arjun Reddy. With Liger up for a grand release on August 25, he is one of the most sought-after actors in the country. Wherever Vijay Deverakonda sets foot for the promotions, thousands of people gather and cheer for him. What caught everyone's attention was Vijay Deverakonda's footwear. Instead of going for stylish footwear, Deverakonda opted for Rs 199 worth of chappals, which he wore with almost every outfit. However, there is a reason behind it. Apart from the comfortability factor, it is also closest to the actor's character from the film.

Speaking to The Times of India, Vijay Deverakonda said, "I know it's a blockbuster (Liger) with Chappals and cross legs...I wear all sorts of things. Jab mood Laga Kuch Bhi Phenta hu (I wear whatever I feel like). See, in 30 days I have to promote the film and then every day I have to look for shoes and clothes and it will take forever. So, one great chappal I bought and it is making my life easier...So, I just do what I feel like."
