Fans are now wondering if Vijay Deverakonda is doing director Puri Jagannadh's next project, JGM. Vijay is slated to play a different part in the film, that of an Indian army soldier. However, given the underwhelming response to their previous collaboration, Liger, across the country, many fans had asked the actor to cancel the project. The film was scheduled to be Vijay's Bollywood debut and Ananya Panday's down south debut, but it failed to make an impression at the box office or among fans.
 
Meanwhile, Vijay has completed filming on Shiva Nirvana's Kushi, which also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the pivotal role. He even posed with the soldiers in the valley's gorgeous settings.
