Liger was a film that was promoted in a big way. Puri Jagan directed and produced the film with Karan Johar. The makers spent a bomb on the promotions but the film flopped in no time bringing a massive loss to the makers. Things have gone to the next level now as the distributors in Telangana after Puri Jagan returned a fair amount of share back to them.
Puri Jagan has even complained to the cops that he is getting threats and even asked for police protection. Now, a few in the media have started to tag along with Vijay Devarakonda and suggest he get involved in this issue and help his director out.
But we have come to know from the team of Vijay that he has no interest in getting into this issue at all as Puri is the producer of the film and he has to deal with this mess along with his co-producer Charmee. The source further adds that Vijay is yet to get fully paid for the film and he has also let go of a small amount seeing this situation.
Now, through his team, Vijay has let a few distributors know that he will not get involved in any such issues from here on and he should not be disturbed henceforth. Vijay is now busy with the shoot of his new film Khushi which also has Samantha as the female lead. The film is directed by Shiva Nirvana.
