Victoria's Secret Welcomes Priyanka Chopra As Brand Ambassadors; Says Goodbye To Angels

Priyanka Chopra has joined the lingerie brand Victoria's Secret as one of its newest brand ambassadors. In an attempt to rebrand itself, Victoria's Secret has ditched its supermodels aka Angles. The brand has repositioned itself around women's empowerment and welcomed prominent women to be its brand ambassadors. From athletes to activists to entrepreneurs, the brand has welcomed a diverse set of women on board.

 
Victoria Secret's took to their social media to make the announcement. Called the VS Collective, the re-branding has been launched as a platform for women empowerment. Priyanka Chopra is among seven founding members of the platform.
 
"We are proud to announce an exciting new partnership platform, #TheVSCollective, designed to shape the future of Victoria’s Secret. These extraordinary partners, with their unique backgrounds, interests and passions will collaborate with us to create revolutionary product collections, compelling and inspiring content, new internal associate programs and rally support for causes vital to women," read the announcement from Victoria's Secret.
 
“I am most excited for new customers, and for those who have always been a customer of Victoria’s Secret, to feel represented and like they belong," read Chopra's statement about the ambassadorship.
 
Priyanka Chopra is one of 7 founding members of their re-branding initiative. The others are Adut Akech, Amanda De Cadenet, Eileen Gu, Megan Rapinoe, Paloma Elseeser, and Valentina Sampaio.
 
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra was last seen in The White Tiger. Chopra will next appear in films like The Matrix 4, Sheela, Hira Mani and more.
