When Vicky Kaushal's look for Sam Bahadur was made public, the internet was in awe. The URI actor effortlessly assumed the appearance for an exceptional film about Field Marshall Sam Manekshaw, leaving everyone curious. Vicky recently provided a sneak peek of a screenplay reading session for his fans, which also included Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and the film's producers. As he prepared to convey Sam Manekshaw's story, the 34-year-old actor shared his emotions.

Vicky posted pictures of himself grinning on his Instagram account as Sanya and Fatima and the others were following the script. The URI actor was spotted laughing with his co-stars, wearing a white shirt, pants, and a hat. During the Sam Bahadur script reading session, director Meghna Gulzar and producer Ronnie Screwvala could also be seen interacting with the group. Sharing the images, Vicky penned, "Reading together, a story we are honored to tell. Of a Soldier and a Gentleman. Our Samबहादुर." Vicky will play Sam Manekshaw, the Indian Army's Chief of the Army Staff during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War in Meghna Gulzar's film. He was also the first commander in the Indian Army to be given the title of Field Marshal. Vicky appeared in the opening shot with a mustache and an army suit, precisely like Sam Manekshaw. Fans were excited and eager to see Vicky put on the uniform to portray a distinguished cop once more. Fans cheered upon realizing that Sanya and Fatima will be the female protagonists. Meghna is the director, and this is Vicky's second project with her after Raazi. RSVP Films is producing it, and it will go into theatres soon.
