Vetri Maaran pays tribute to Nitish Veera

It was a shocking day for Kollywood technicians and fans on May 17 as many death news took over the headlines. Popular supporting actor Nitish Veera who acted in Asuran, Pudhupettai, and Kaala, died due to Covid-19 complications. He was 45. He is survived by his wife and two children. Nitish Veera's performance in Asuran was to the point and had a great impact on the audience. Nitish had acted in most of Vetri Maaran's films. The filmmaker released a video message in which he remembered Nitish and paid his condolences to his family members.

In his video message, director Vetri Maaran said, "I know Nitish Veera from Pudhupettai. I was an assistant director back then. He didn't get big offers and after Asuran, he told me that he has been getting several good chances. When he was infected, doctors told me that there will be some good news in two days but he passed away today. I know that many people had said that COVID19 is false propaganda and stopped wearing masks. We should be careful and follow all the precautionary measures."
