Now Vamshi Paidipally is directing Vijay's bilingual movie "Varisu". The film is scheduled for Pongal 2023 release. The action, romance, and entertainment-filled movie is reportedly going into post-production starting on December 5.
The film will be released in both Tamil and Telugu. It has been the subject of debate in recent days. Initially the Telugu Film Producers Council recently made a statement on festive film's release dates. According to the announcement, Telugu movies would be prioritised over other dubbed and bilingual releases.
Now, the Animal Welfare Board has issued a warning to the film's producers. The producers of the Vijay starrer have received a show cause notice from the Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI). The Animal Welfare Board has not yet received the pre-shoot application from the "Varisu" team. In addition, the "Varisu" team has received a show cause notice for using an elephant in a scene without getting approval from the board.
The post production of the movie is going on full swing. The film's first single, Ranjithame, generated a lot of buzz and has received over 50 million views on the video streaming service. Rashmika Mandanna, Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Yogi Babu, Shyam, Jayasudha, Sangeetha Krish, Srikanth, and Samyuktha Shanmuganathan are among the cast members of "Varisu." The film will be a fully packed family entertainer.
