Varalaxmi and Soori meet Udhayanidhi Stalin to donate for Covid-19 relief

Udayanidhi Stalin is the DMK Youth Wing Secretary and Chepauk-Triplicane MLA. Actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Soori recently met Udhayanidhi Stalin to make their donations for Covid-19 relief. Varalaxmi feeds stray animals through her GO Save Shakti. Collaborating with Sankalp Beautiful World and Pedigree India, she has been helping out stray animal during pandemic. Regarding the meeting, Varalaxmi wrote, "Thank you so much @Udhaystalin for meeting with #saveshakthi , launching our #covid helpline and accepting our 2 ton food for the stray animals on behalf of the government.. @SBWHealth @Pedigree_India @IHROWorld plz use our COVID helpline we are here to help as much as we can.!! (Sic)."

Similarly, Soori donated 10,25,000 to The Chief Minister's General Relief Fund. Udhayanidhi wrote, "Actor and my brother Soori handed over the cheque of rs 10 lakh and Rs 25,000 in cash on behalf of her daughter Vennila and son Sarwan to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. My humble thanks to to him for his work. " Earlier, actors Rajinikanth, Ajith, Sivakarthikeyan and several other actors have contributed to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
