Ajith will appear on Director H Vinoth's 2020 film Valimai. The Valimai director took to Twitter to hint at the possibility of a squeal to Venkat Prabhu's 2011 hit film Mankatha.
Mankatha and Actor Ajith was going viral on all social media platform yesterday. This was because the film Mankatha was telecasted on tv networks yesterday. Fans watching from home were sharing their favorite scenes of the film. At this juncture, director Vinoth director took to Twitter to state that there might be another Mankatha.
He tweeted, "Watching my All time Favorite #Mankatha now on K TV !!#ThalaFans Get Ready For Next Mankatha... It's Is Our #Valimai."
Mankatha also starred Trisha, Raai Laxmi, and Anjali as the female leads. Premgi Amaren, Mahat Raghavendra, Vaibhav Reddy, Arjun also took on key roles. The film was an action thriller written and directed by Venkat Prabhu. The film had multiple twists and turns. The suspense thriller was one of 2011's most successful films. Recently actor Premgi Amaren had also hinted at the possibility of a sequel. With confirmations from director Vinoth's tweet fans have expressed their excitement.
Meanwhile, Valimai is a cop drama. It is scheduled to hit theatres in November 2020. In addition to Ajith, the film also stars Yami Gautam, Ileana D'Cruz and Huma Qureshi. Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor is bankrolling the film. Tollywood actor Karthikeyan will take on the antagonist role. Yogi Babu will be seen as Ajith’s sidekick.
