Finally, the wait is over! The Telugu-Tamil bilingual drama Vaathi, starring Dhanush, has a release date that has been confirmed by the production team. This year's second day of December will see the release of this eagerly anticipated movie. Samyuktha Menon will play the major female role in the project, which is being directed by Venky Atluri. The drama's Telugu adaptation is titled, Sir. The creators shared the most recent update on Twitter and stated,

The dynamic actor plays a junior lecturer in a college who is committed to fighting our nation's unfair educational system in the teaser for this action drama. Dhanush is pictured on the announcement poster leaning over a table and pointing to the Vaathi premiere date. Along with the rest of the actors, Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, and Narra Srinivas will all play significant roles in the film. The film's technical staff includes several skilled craftsmen and is funded by S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the brands of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Vaathi's camera was turned on by Dinesh Krishnan B, while GV Prakash Kumar provided the soundtrack and background music. The project's editing team was led by Naveen Nooli. Additionally, Dhanush is currently engaged in work on Captain Miller, a project under the direction of Arun Matheswaran. Priyanka Arul Mohan is reportedly being considered for the role of the film's female protagonist; however, no official confirmation has been made public.
