Tiger Shroff-Starring Screw Dheela On Hold; Due To Exor Budget, Uncertain Box Office Outlook, And Poor Responses To The Announcement Video.

Heropanti 2, starring Tiger Shroff, was released earlier this year to great acclaim. Sadly, terrible word of mouth caused it to bomb at the box office. Even yet, he still has the two blockbuster movies Ganapath and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan in his back pocket. Tiger will star in Screw Dheela, which will be produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, the company revealed last month. A major announcement video was also released, in which a terrified Tiger Shroff was seen being questioned by men in uniform. At first, he poses as an innocent PT instructor. But all of a sudden, he switches to assault mode and attacks the bad guys. Rashmika Mandanna, best known for her role in Pushpa, is reportedly going to play Tiger in Screw Dheela. A few rumours also said that Janhvi or Shanaya Kapoor would land the role.

There have been some newsworthy developments relating to this movie. The insider stated, "Director Shashank Khaitan and producer Karan Johar have chosen to put the movie on hold. There were other elements to consider. First of all, the movie is a large-scale action comedy with a $150 million budget. The teaser, however, didn't quite receive the kind feedback that the creators had hoped for. Tiger's Heropanti 2 failed miserably, casting doubt on his influence at the box office. The current box office situation is dreadful, especially considering how poorly Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan performed at the box office".

"Considering all these things, it was decided by all the stakeholders that it's not appropriate to take this film on floors at this time," the person stated. "Screw Dheela isn't in a shelf. The gang plans to see this movie at a later time when the box office atmosphere is favorable".

This is not the first time Shashank Khaitan's movie has been delayed following a major announcement. In February 2018, it was revealed that he will direct Rannbhoomi, starring Varun Dhawan. Later, the movie was shelved. Rannbhoomi required a sizable budget due to its highest special effects, according to Shashank when he opened up about the movie in August 2020. As a result, it was decided not to proceed with the project at that time. Then, he had intended to work with Varun to create an espionage thriller, but tragically, it was never fulfilled.

He was later scheduled to collaborate with Shahid Kapoor on the movie Yoddha. Because of pandemic constraints, it was shelved. Yodha, a movie produced by Karan Johar and starring Sidharth Malhotra, is claimed to be distinct from Shashank Khaitan's movie. One of the producers of this movie is Shashank.
