Ajith Kumar, H Vinoth, and Boney Kapoor are all prepared to entertain moviegoers once more with the upcoming action comedy Thunivu following the success of Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai. The makers of the eagerly anticipated drama have introduced the Telugu title Thegimpu with a new poster in anticipation of its Pongal release.
Thunivu is transformed into Thegimpu in Telugu. The movie will be released in Telugu and Tamil as a dubbed version. Radha Krishna Entertainments and IVY Productions will be backing Thegimpu in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Thunivu clashed at the box office with Thlapathy Vijay's family comedy Varisu. This is one of the reasons why the film has already generated a lot of buzz. It is also a bilingual movie. Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead in the Telugu version, Varasudu.
The first tune from the eagerly anticipated drama 'Chilla Chilla' has been released by the producers. Vaisagh wrote the lyrics for the song. Ghibran composed the music. Chilla Chilla is sung by Anirudh Ravichander. Ajith Kumar can be seen flaunting his bulky appearance with vibrant clothing and jewellery in a few scenes of Chilla Chilla.
Thunivu's plot was reportedly based on a bank robbery. The director has explained that the movie is set in a dishonest world with not too many bad guys. Manju Warrier plays the lead. Samuthirakani, Veera, John Kokken, Ajay, and Cibi Chandran will all have significant roles in the movie.
Ajith Kumar will begin the next work on filmmaker Vignesh Shivan's much-awaited drama. It is tentatively titled AK62. By January of next year, the project will begin production with funding from the production banner Lyca Productions.
