Santosh Sivan’s new film ‘Jack N Jill’ starring Manju Warrier is all set to hit theatres on May 20th. Now, director Santosh Sivan says that Manju did not do the action scenes in ‘Jack N Jill’ easily. Santosh Sivan said that what the audience saw on the screen was not easy and was the result of hard work. The response was in an interview with OTT Play.
Santosh Sivan directed the Malayalam drama film Jack 'n' Jill. “Manju wanted to do action scenes with the May flexibility of a dancer;” says the director. Santosh Sivan added that they had trained for this several times.
Santosh Sivan said that ‘Jack N Jill's a movie that should be seen in theaters. “'Jack N Jill' has not been released on OTT yet because I know the theatrical experience and I believe this movie is a must-see in theaters;” said Santosh Sivan.
Earlier Karan Johar had revealed the trailer for the film. The intriguing trailer filled with mystery gained much attention from the internet. The trailer suggests that the film is an entertainer featuring sci-fi themes and comedy.
Apart fom Manju, in the lead roles are Kalidas Jayaram and Nedumudi Venu. Lensman Studios is the production company behind the film. Gopi Sundar wrote the music. Santhosh Sivan himself handled the cinematography as well. The film ‘Jack N Jill’ will hit theatres on May 20th.
